BYD recently held a press event at its headquarters in Pingshan District, Shenzhen, unveiling multiple technological advancements in the field of new energy vehicles. Chairman Wang Chuanfu stated that BYD’s intelligent driving system has already undergone testing and deployment in complex mixed-traffic environments such as urban villages in Shenzhen, aiming to address the diverse challenges posed by China's urban and rural road conditions. Simultaneously, BYD launched its self-developed automotive-grade chip, "Xuanji A3," manufactured using a 4-nanometer process and delivering a peak computing power of 2,100 TOPS. Wang emphasized that BYD now possesses the computational capability required to meet future intelligent driving demands. Additionally, BYD introduced a "City Navigation Guarantee" policy, pledging to assume full responsibility and provide compensation for any accidents occurring while the City Navigation feature is active—without affecting the user’s insurance premium for the following year.
