At the NVIDIA GTC Taipei event held during COMPUTEX Taipei 2026, Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast, Israeli autonomous driving software company Autobrains, and U.S. chipmaker NVIDIA announced a strategic collaboration to jointly develop an L4 autonomous Robotaxi platform tailored for the Southeast Asian market. Built on NVIDIA’s DRIVE Hyperion 10 computing architecture and integrated with Autobrains’ “Agentic AI” software technology, the platform aims to address the technical challenges posed by Southeast Asia’s complex traffic environments. The three parties plan to adopt a modular, open architecture to overcome current obstacles in real-world deployment of autonomous driving solutions. Autobrains’ “Agentic AI” technology enhances the system’s ability to understand complex scenarios while reducing computational resource requirements. For VinFast, this partnership will facilitate the development of a more cost-effective autonomous driving solution and shorten system integration timelines.
