BYD's premium brand Denza has rolled out a new OTA system update for its Z9 and Z9 GT models, introducing nine feature enhancements centered around four key areas: smart connectivity, in-car entertainment, safety evidence collection, and IoT ecosystem integration. This update adds support for Hisense and TCL smart home devices, enabling owners to remotely control household appliances such as air conditioners directly from their vehicle’s infotainment system. The Sentry Mode has been optimized to allow users to export critical video clips with a single tap on the playback interface, saving them directly to local storage or a USB drive—streamlining accident evidence collection. Additionally, the Denza Smart IoT App Store now integrates a points-based payment system, allowing DiLink account holders to redeem accumulated points toward purchases within the store. In terms of music and entertainment, the Fusion Music app now includes a data usage alert feature, letting users set custom data limits and receive threshold notifications. The “Dynamic Themes” section debuts the “Time & Music Wallpaper,” which automatically adjusts screen colors based on weather and time of day while recommending matching tracks. QQ Music introduces an “AI Listening Companion” feature that narrates stories behind lyrics and melodies, alongside the new Galaxy Audio Effect. KuGou Music adds Viper Audio Effects, with both platforms offering spatial audio specifically tuned for Denza’s cabin acoustics. The expanded IoT ecosystem now supports integration and control of pet safety seats, Ninebot scooters, in-car air purifiers, car vacuum cleaners, lumbar massagers, and dual-zone portable refrigerators. Owners can monitor their pets’ status or adjust environmental devices directly via the vehicle’s infotainment system. For multi-screen interaction, iQIYI now offers cross-screen casting: holding down a video thumbnail instantly sends content to other screens in the cabin. A new “Front Passenger Nap Mode” is also available—activating it with one tap automatically reclines the front passenger seat into a rest-friendly position.
