On June 3, Xiaomi Auto released the 252nd installment of its "Answers to Netizens' Questions," clarifying details about the driving modes of the YU7 GT model and the advanced driver-assistance features of the YU7 series. The YU7 GT offers multiple driving modes: - In Comfort mode, power delivery is smooth and suspension tuning prioritizes ride comfort, effectively filtering out road vibrations. - Eco mode defaults to disconnecting the front motor, switching to rear-wheel drive to reduce energy consumption and extend driving range. - A dedicated Motion Sickness Relief mode optimizes throttle response, braking logic, and regenerative braking strategies to minimize passenger motion sickness and deliver a driving experience closer to that of conventional internal combustion engine vehicles. Regarding driver-assistance capabilities, the YU7 Long Range, Pro, and Max trims—all upgraded to Xiaomi HyperOS version 1.16—now feature Xiaomi’s XLA cognitive large model. This update introduces a beta version of voice-controlled vehicle functions and mall parking-garage-level navigation down to individual parking spaces. Additional features will be gradually rolled out as the technology evolves.
