Zhijian Zhiqing Secures Tens of Millions in Pre-A Funding to Advance Micro Motor Mass Production and Supply Chain Delivery

Suzhou Zhijian Zhiqing Technology Co., Ltd. announced on June 4, 2025, that it has completed a Pre-A financing round of tens of millions of RMB. This round was led by Shenzhen Capital Group, with participation from Tianqi Capital and ZY Asia. The proceeds will be used to ramp up mass production of its next-generation miniature axial-flux motors, build hollow-cup motor production lines, and ensure reliable supply chain delivery to global top-tier customers. Founded in August 2024, Zhijian Zhiqing is led by CEO and founder Zhang Yang, who brings 12 years of experience in the motor industry. Previously, he worked at Midea, Weifu High-Technology, and Hesai (TuSimple), where he spearheaded the development of the world’s first 1550nm automotive LiDAR scanning system, which achieved annual sales exceeding 150,000 units. CTO Han Jie has a decade of motor R&D experience and previously led the mass production of multiple main-drive and precision motors at Geely and Hesai. The company specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of ultra-miniature motors. Addressing key challenges in dexterous robotic hands—such as large size, long transmission chains, and poor reliability—it has pioneered a technical approach combining “PCB-based axial-flux motors with cycloidal reducers.” Its PCB axial-flux stator leverages IC substrate high-density interconnect (HDI) technology to produce a 48-layer micro-stator just 4.2mm thick, achieving a copper fill factor of 51%, motor efficiency exceeding 80%, and torque density ten times higher than that of similarly sized hollow-cup motors. Additionally, the company has developed an ultra-thin (2mm height) single-stage cycloidal gear reducer with a 50:1 reduction ratio, offering high rigidity, low backlash (<20 arcmin), and strong shock resistance. Its dual-stator, single-rotor architecture enhances torque output while canceling axial magnetic pull forces, and optimized heat-dissipation hole layout improves thermal performance by 50%. Zhijian Zhiqing has already entered the supply chains of leading global embodied intelligence companies and several major consumer electronics giants. Its products are being integrated into premium 3C devices such as smartphones and laptops, with order deliveries expected to surge significantly in 2026. The company’s intelligent manufacturing facility in Suzhou is now operational, featuring flexible production capacity capable of delivering 100,000 units annually.
