Hyundai Motor and NVIDIA are in the final stages of negotiations to establish an artificial intelligence R&D center in Korea, with the Korean government also involved in the discussions. The Saemangeum area is the preferred location for the center, which, once completed, will become one of NVIDIA’s premier R&D facilities. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is visiting Korea this week and plans to meet on Friday with Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Euisun Chung and other industry executives to finalize the center’s location and construction timeline.
