Recently, spy photos of BYD Dynasty Network's new D-segment flagship sedan undergoing road testing have surfaced. The vehicle is expected to officially launch in the third quarter of 2026. Its name is currently being publicly crowdsourced online, with the final choice to be determined based on public suggestions. The new model continues the design language of the Han family but features an overall larger body size. Its front fascia integrates a full-width light bar connecting the headlamps, while the side profile showcases elongated character lines and the rear end sports a贯穿式 (full-width) taillight. Inside, the cabin layout closely resembles that of the Dynasty series' flagship SUV, the Tang, including an identical steering wheel design. In terms of powertrain, the sedan will be offered in both DM-i plug-in hybrid and all-electric variants. All versions will be equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and the company’s proprietary flash-charging technology. The all-electric models include two high-end trims featuring roof-mounted LiDAR units: the all-wheel-drive Flagship trim delivers a CLTC range of 880 km, while the rear-wheel-drive Premium trim achieves an impressive CLTC range of 1,008 km. Both high-end EV variants come standard with roof-mounted LiDAR and advanced intelligent driving assistance systems, supporting full-scenario smart driving assistance capabilities.
