Great Wall Motor plans to launch its new GWM Tank 7 model in mid-June. Based on user feedback, the vehicle’s chassis has been raised by 30 mm, resulting in a minimum ground clearance of 185 mm—on par with mainstream urban SUVs. The new model measures 5,149 mm in length, 2,005 mm in width, and 1,925 mm in height, with the wheelbase remaining unchanged at 3,085 mm. It also features a newly added shooting brake-style exterior package. Powering the vehicle is the existing Hi4 plug-in hybrid all-wheel-drive system, which combines a 1.5T hybrid powertrain with dual electric motors. This setup delivers a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 5.7 seconds, a WLTC pure-electric range of 172 km, and a combined full-tank/full-battery driving range exceeding 940 km. At launch, the company will simultaneously kick off an online naming campaign for the new model. The official pricing has not yet been announced, though market estimates suggest a starting price of approximately RMB 295,000.
