Honda China reported terminal sales of 28,279 vehicles in the Chinese market in May, bringing its cumulative sales from January to May to 173,344 units. Of this, Dongfeng Honda sold 18,563 vehicles in May, up 20% month-over-month. The CR-V accounted for 11,408 units, a 30.4% month-over-month increase, while the Inspire and Civic saw month-over-month growth of 20.7% and 17.4%, respectively. GAC Honda’s May sales surged 77.61% month-over-month, though they remained below the 10,000-unit mark. Its Breeze model recorded sales of 4,402 units in May, up 38.7% month-over-month.
