Audi unveiled the Nuvolari hypercar in France on June 5, equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and exceeding a top speed of 350 km/h. Limited to just 499 units globally, the car starts at $700,000. When asked whether an open-top version of the Nuvolari would be launched, Audi CEO Gernot Döllner stated that the company would not produce another 499 units of the coupe variant but did not rule out the possibility of a convertible version. Media outlets have speculated that if a convertible Nuvolari is introduced, its production volume would be lower than that of the coupe, with a potentially higher price tag, targeting an even more niche group of collector-oriented buyers.
