Recently, a video showing a Tesla equipped with the FSD v14 system driving on a cliffside mountain road has drawn widespread attention. The road, built along steep terrain, features narrow lanes with sheer rock walls on one side and a precipice on the other, making it particularly challenging to navigate. The footage demonstrates the vehicle smoothly executing stable cornering, driving close to the cliff edge, and performing tight passing maneuvers—all under FSD control. The test was conducted by a domestic Tesla user. The FSD v14 version used in the video has not yet been rolled out broadly in China and is currently available only to a limited group of beta testers. Market rumors suggest that FSD v14 could be fully released to Chinese Tesla owners as early as August this year, potentially skipping version v13 entirely. The initial public release is expected to be at least version v14.2.2.5, and might even debut as v14.3.
