The 2027 Dongfeng Fengxing Star Ocean V9 has officially launched, offering three trim levels with a super trade-in price range of RMB 169,900 to RMB 219,900 and an official manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of RMB 179,900 to RMB 229,900. Exterior-wise, the new model retains the overall design of the current version, measuring 5,230 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,018 mm. Inside, it features dual 15.6-inch center console and front passenger entertainment screens, along with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster. New additions include an in-car KTV system, an app store, and a four-zone voice recognition system powered by voiceprint identification. All seats come standard with power adjustment, heating, and ventilation functions. The second-row airline-style seats further add leg rests, foldable tables, and integrated armrest control panels. The cabin also includes a 5L automotive-grade refrigerator (capable of both cooling and heating), zoned climate control throughout the cabin, a large panoramic sunroof, seat cushions thickened by 30 mm, and enhanced overall sound insulation performance. On the intelligent technology front, the vehicle is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platform 8295P chip and integrates two major AI large language models—Baidu’s ERNIE Bot and DeepSeek—enabling smart Q&A, trip planning, and content generation capabilities. The standard driver-assistance suite offers Level 2 (L2) functionality, including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist, and Automatic Emergency Braking. Newly added features include automatic parking, remote parking, 50-meter trail-back reversing, and Sentry Mode, complemented by a 360-degree surround-view camera system and a streaming rearview mirror. Under the hood, the V9 adopts Dongfeng’s Mach Twin擎 hybrid powertrain paired with Armor Battery 3.0, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 200 km and a combined range of 1,300 km. Its fuel consumption under battery-depleted conditions is rated at just 5.27 L/100 km. The vehicle supports 18-minute fast charging and offers 6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power supply capability. It also comes with an 8-year or 160,000-kilometer comprehensive warranty.
