BYD recently released official spy shots of the "Han," a large-sized sedan that, together with the "Tang," will form the flagship lineup of BYD’s "Dynasty Series." The vehicle is expected to launch in the third quarter of this year. The Han features an all-new family design language, with slim headlights connected by a decorative strip across the front to create a continuous lighting effect. Its sharply sculpted bumper lines lend the car a sporty overall appearance. A roof-mounted LiDAR unit suggests the vehicle may be equipped with either the "God's Eye B" LiDAR-assisted driving system or the "God's Eye 5.0" advanced driver-assistance solution. The side profile showcases an elongated fastback silhouette with a low-slung stance. It may be offered with dual-tone paint options and matching large-diameter brake calipers. At the rear, the design remains clean and minimalist, featuring a full-width taillight that integrates elements inspired by traditional Chinese aesthetics. Inside, the front cabin layout closely resembles that of the Tang but has been thoroughly refreshed with updated styling. Powertrain options include both plug-in hybrid and all-electric variants, both utilizing BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology. The all-electric version will be available in two range configurations—800 km and 1,008 km (CLTC).
