On June 9, Sidotech held a brand launch event to officially unveil its new automotive brand, AIVA. Positioned as youthful and sporty, AIVA’s debut model is a pure electric extended-range dual-power crossover vehicle that blends characteristics of sedans and SUVs. Priced between RMB 100,000 and RMB 200,000, the vehicle is scheduled to hit the market within this year and will be sold domestically and overseas through the company’s self-built sales channels. The inaugural AIVA model comes standard across all trims with the Doubao large-model-powered intelligent cockpit, while its intelligent driving system is supported by DeepRoute.ai. The rear design of the vehicle is minimalist, and the revealed logo features a red color scheme. SERES has also entered into a deep collaboration with Volcano Engine, ByteDance’s cloud service platform, surpassing the previous “co-defined, co-developed” partnership model it had with SAIC Roewe. ByteDance explicitly stated that AIVA is not an automotive brand launched by ByteDance or Doubao, and there is no equity-based partnership between the two parties.
