On June 9, Honda unveiled a mid-cycle refresh for the eleventh-generation Accord, with updates so extensive they nearly amount to a full model change. Externally, the car adopts an entirely new design language, featuring a smaller front grille and slimmer headlight clusters. The rear end has been restyled with sharper, more defined lines and new taillight units. Inside, the cabin layout and hardware have been refined, including a larger center infotainment display and improved ergonomics for enhanced user experience. On the powertrain front, the Accord e:HEV hybrid variant will now feature the S+Shift simulated gear-shifting system—a technology previously introduced on the Honda Prelude—which delivers a simulated manual shifting feel to heighten driver engagement. This update aims to address growing market demand for sportier sedans.
