In May 2026, the total mileage driven using NIO’s intelligent driver-assistance systems reached nearly 200 million kilometers, representing a 13.7% month-over-month increase from April. Notably, the city NOA (Navigate on Autopilot in urban areas) feature has achieved consecutive month-over-month mileage growth for five straight months, with a compound monthly growth rate exceeding 20% from January to May and a 12.4% increase in May alone. During the same period, NIO’s Intelligent Safety Assist system—which includes features such as Automatic Emergency Braking, General Obstacle Warning and Assistance, and Automatic Emergency Evasion—identified and mitigated over 330,000 potential risks, averting an average of more than 10,000 hazardous situations per day. In May, the Intelligent Parking Assist feature was used over 9.14 million times, collectively saving users approximately 82,000 hours of parking time. Among these, Remote Smart Parking accounted for nearly 820,000 uses. NIO plans to roll out a new version of its NIO World Model starting in June 2026, covering vehicle platforms including Banyan, Cedar, Cedar S, and the ONVO brand’s Coconut+.
