Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2026 will be held from June 12 to 14, with early-bird tickets going on sale April 29. The event will unveil a new version of HarmonyOS, core AI capabilities of HarmonyOS, and key ecosystem achievements. According to the published agenda, the “Smart Mobility” session features two presentations: Huawei’s Terminal BG Software Department will present “Embracing the New HarmonyOS System, Co-Creating a New Chapter for Intelligent Cockpits,” followed by a session from the Sports Health & Smart Mobility Software Department titled “HarmonyOS NEXT In-Vehicle Open Capabilities Showcase.” In May this year, Huawei launched a new generation of its HarmonyOS-based intelligent cockpit—exclusive to the AITO M9 series—at the Harmony Intelligent Mobility launch event. This cockpit features a unified design language shared with smartphones, tablets, and PCs, supporting flexible layouts with widgets, apps, and folders. Additionally, in April 2023, Huawei’s Qiankun Intelligent Automotive Solution announced the launch of the HarmonyOS NEXT In-Vehicle OS Pioneer Developer Program. Initial partners include leading app developers such as iQiyi, BabyBus, Bilibili, Changba, AutoNavi, Mango TV, Tencent Music Entertainment Group (including QQ Music, KuGou Music, WeSing, and Kuwo Music), Himalaya, Youku, and YunTing.
