The SAIC Roewe Jiayue 07 has been listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) 408th batch of the "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products" for new product disclosure. This model is a plug-in extended-range hybrid sports passenger vehicle, rated for five occupants, featuring a unibody construction. It is equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and an Event Data Recorder (EDR), and offers an optional ETC onboard unit. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,900 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and either 1,745 mm or 1,753 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,908 mm. Curb weights are available in three variants: 2,010 kg, 2,040 kg, and 2,075 kg, corresponding to gross vehicle weights of 2,435 kg, 2,465 kg, and 2,500 kg, respectively. The top speed is 180 km/h. Tire options include 245/55R19 or 245/50R20. The front track is 1,643 mm, the rear track is 1,657 mm, the approach angle is 19 degrees, the departure angle is 22 degrees, and the front and rear overhangs measure 917 mm and 1,075 mm, respectively. The powertrain features a 1.5L range-extender engine (model 15FMC) produced by SAIC Motor Corporation Limited, with a displacement of 1,498 ml, a rated power output of 72 kW, and a maximum net power of 70 kW. The drive motor delivers a rated power of 60 kW and a peak power of 162 kW. The energy storage system uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries; the battery pack is manufactured by Nanjing Automobile Group Co., Ltd., with cells supplied by Jiangsu Zhengli New Energy Battery Technology Co., Ltd. The vehicle supports external charging and complies with China VI emission standards. The vehicle offers numerous optional configurations, including fender trim, rear quarter window glass, door glass, rear windshield, rear spoiler, rear emblem, and wheel rims. Customers may also choose to omit the roof rack or exclude the LiDAR sensor. The ABS system (model IEB20) is produced by SAIC Lianchuang Intelligent Connected Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. Earlier this year, during its April brand event, Roewe unveiled the "Jiayue" AI-native vehicle series developed in collaboration with Volcano Engine, showcasing three concept models: Jiayue 07, Jiayue 06, and Jiayue 09. The series claims deep integration with Volcano Engine’s Doubao large language model 2.0 series, enabling AI large models to orchestrate, make decisions for, and control the vehicle’s physical systems.
