Mercedes-Benz has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with German defense startup Tytan Technologies to collaborate on producing mobile air defense system vehicles designed to intercept small drones. The partnership was announced at the 2026 International Aerospace Exhibition (ILA 2026), where Mercedes-Benz will develop vehicle-based drone defense and mission platforms based on its G-Class and Sprinter models to protect personnel and critical infrastructure.
