Segway-Ninebot’s Qz1 and Q3 electric scooters, co-branded with POP MART’s Sweet Bean IP, went on sale on June 12, priced starting at RMB 3,399 and RMB 3,699 respectively. Customers who complete their purchase and redemption will receive a Sweet Bean co-branded helmet and an exclusive limited-edition merchandise gift box. The Qz1 co-branded model features exclusive custom sound effects, a Sweet Bean-themed dashboard, bespoke side emblems, a dedicated app interface, and a customized NFC key card. It is available in two color schemes: “Anniversary Day” and “Confession Day.” The scooter measures 1,513 × 671 × 1,030 mm, is powered by a 48V20Ah lead-acid battery, has a top speed of 25 km/h, and offers a real-world range of 56 km. It is equipped with Segway’s custom-designed brushless motor with a rated power output of 400W. The Q3 co-branded version includes exclusive custom sound effects, a dedicated app interface, a Sweet Bean-themed dashboard, and a customized NFC key card. It comes in “Dream Day” and “Wish Day” color options. Measuring 1,590 × 710 × 1,070 mm, it is powered by a 60V20Ah lead-acid battery, reaches a top speed of 45 km/h, and delivers a full-speed real-world range of 64 km. Its motor is Segway’s custom brushless unit with a rated power of 800W and a peak power of 1,900W. This collaboration is based on Segway’s Q-series scooters, which emphasize stylish aesthetics and personalized design, primarily targeting female users. In May 2025, Segway launched new Q-series models including the Qz1 and Q3, with initial launch prices starting at RMB 2,799 for the Qz1 and RMB 4,299 for the Q3. Segway has previously engaged in multiple IP collaborations: in March 2025, it released an Egg Party co-branded electric motorcycle priced between RMB 3,899 and RMB 4,399; in March 2026, it announced a partnership with POP MART’s Sweet Bean IP and planned to launch its first co-branded e-scooter in April of the same year. Sweet Bean is an original trendy toy IP launched by POP MART in September 2020, featuring the character of a two-and-a-half-year-old baby wearing a diaper.
