On June 13, 2026, Changan Mazda showcased models including the MX-5, EZ-6, and EZ-60 at the Chongqing Auto Show under the theme “Still Mazda.” Among them, the EZ-6 won the prestigious “2026 World Car Design of the Year” award, while the EZ-60 secured eight top-tier global design accolades. Both vehicles were developed to global standards and meet the stringent five-star safety requirements of both China and Europe. The EZ-60’s battery safety already complies ahead of schedule with China’s new national standards and European regulations, and Changan Mazda backs it with a “Lifetime Battery Fire Compensation Guarantee.” Additionally, the EZ-60 claimed the SUV class championship at the circuit race of the China New Energy Vehicle Rally Championship. Changan Mazda has obtained whole-vehicle type approvals from the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Australia, becoming the first joint-venture new energy vehicle manufacturer in China to simultaneously secure all three certifications. Its overseas sales and pre-orders are progressing smoothly. The company continues to advance its “User+” strategy by launching co-creation initiatives with users and building a comprehensive user ecosystem spanning the entire vehicle lifecycle. On the philanthropy front, Changan Mazda has built 12 Hope Primary Schools in Yunnan Province, with cumulative investments exceeding RMB 10 million. In June 2026, it launched the “Every Kilometer Counts” initiative, converting users’ driving mileage into charitable funds to improve conditions at Hope Primary Schools.
