In the latest vehicle announcement released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), several new energy vehicle models have drawn attention for their designs and powertrain configurations. The Zhijie RX features asymmetric tires sized 255 at the front and 275 at the rear, AMG-style bucket seats, and dual front-and-rear motors delivering a combined output of 437 kW. Positioned as a sporty SUV, it will also be equipped with Huawei’s intelligent driving hardware. The Xiangjie G9 showcases a highly original, minimalist design language, with headlight and taillight units resembling audio equipment. It will be offered in both all-electric and extended-range hybrid variants. Its motor setup is similar to that of the Zhijie RX, though differences exist in battery capacity and all-electric range. The Beijing 81VJ is a plug-in hybrid SUV equipped with a 50 kWh battery and a 138 kW engine. The Hongqi G9 made its debut on the evening of the 1st, featuring a boxy silhouette and the brand’s signature design language. The next-generation FAW Audi Q3L has grown approximately 15 cm in length and adopts split headlight and taillight clusters, though its design has sparked debate due to insufficient visual distinction. The Mercedes-Benz C350L dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant delivers a maximum output of 463 kW and shares a similar exterior design language with the all-electric GLC. BYD’s Denza Z is a two-door sports car boasting a peak output of 1,180 kW and a curb weight slightly exceeding 2.2 metric tons. Meanwhile, the BYD Han measures over 5.2 meters in length; its all-electric AWD version produces 570 kW, making it BYD’s current flagship sedan.
