Dreame Technology is currently undergoing an organizational restructuring, consolidating its existing business units (BUs) into four core business segments: Smart Home, Outdoor & Garden, Smart Mobility, and Embodied Intelligence. BUs that have not yet established actual operations or staffing will be eliminated. Among these, the Smart Cleaning segment employs nearly 12,000 people—accounting for over 50% of the company’s total workforce—with R&D personnel comprising more than 70% of this segment. These businesses will be marketed externally under brands including Dreame, MOVA, TanTu (NAVEE), ShouQu (SKYMOTOR), and Magic Atom. The company has also established an Industrial Research Institute to house capital-intensive, R&D-heavy, and long-cycle businesses such as smartphones, automotive, and semiconductors, focusing exclusively on technological R&D and industry-academia collaboration. This restructuring involves an overall workforce reduction of approximately 12%, slightly higher than the typical 10% attrition rate from mid-year performance reviews in previous years. Currently, the total number of members in large group chats on Dreame Group’s Feishu system is no longer visible.
