Bentley plans to launch its first all-electric SUV between late 2026 and early 2027. Positioned as a compact urban SUV with a length of approximately 5 meters—shorter than the Bentayga—the new model draws design cues from the EXP100 GT concept car’s lines and carries forward the proportions of the fourth-generation Continental GT. It features a large rectangular grille and sharply defined headlight clusters. Built on Volkswagen Group’s premium electric PPE platform, the SUV will be powered by electric motors with a combined output expected to exceed 809 kW, positioning it competitively against Porsche’s top-tier electric models. The vehicle will support an 800V high-voltage fast-charging architecture and pack a battery capacity of around 113 kWh, delivering an estimated range of nearly 600 kilometers. Bentley has already registered the trademark “Barnato,” named after 1920s Bentley racing driver Joel Woolf Barnato. The starting price is expected to be approximately €300,000 (roughly RMB 2.33 million).
