To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the French Navy, Citroën unveiled a special-edition C3 Aircross concept car on June 25. The vehicle features a Storm Blue body with a light gray roof and red accents. Its front and rear bumpers have been redesigned with added protective cladding, giving it a more rugged appearance. The ride height is noticeably higher than the standard model, complemented by black 17-inch wheels fitted with all-terrain tires, and a roof rack capable of carrying a full set of naval diving equipment. Additional exterior details include widened wheel arches, louvered fog lights inspired by sailors’ Morse code lanterns, heavy-duty straps, a trailer hook resembling a ship’s bollard, and exclusive decals covering the doors and C-pillars. Inside, the cabin features bespoke red-and-white seat upholstery with 400th-anniversary badges embroidered on the backrests. Red ambient lighting mimics submarine interior illumination, while the dashboard incorporates decorative elements in the French tricolor—blue, white, and red. Stellantis has not yet disclosed whether the special edition features any modifications to its powertrain or chassis. The current production C3 Aircross is available with a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine, offered in either conventional gasoline or mild-hybrid variants, as well as a single-motor all-electric version.
