On June 25, Qualcomm announced the launch of its data center chip product line, officially entering the AI processor market and planning to deploy related products in China. Cristiano Amon, CEO of Qualcomm, stated that the company will introduce all four of its data center product lines to China, including AI accelerators specifically customized for Chinese customers, all of which comply with U.S. export control regulations. Amon noted that Qualcomm has a broad business foundation in China and is deepening collaborations with Chinese smartphone makers and automotive companies—an advantage it expects to leverage significantly in the data center space. Currently, Qualcomm is engaging with Chinese partners on these products and remains optimistic about the feedback received.
