Qijing GT7 Shooting Brake Launches from ¥209,900, First with Huawei ADS 5.0

Qijing Auto officially launched its mid-to-large intelligent shooting brake coupe, the GT7, with five variants priced between RMB 209,900 and RMB 329,900. The lineup includes the Standard version at RMB 209,900, Ultra at RMB 239,900, Ultra Long Range at RMB 269,900, Ultra Tri-Motor AWD at RMB 299,900, and Ultra+ Tri-Motor AWD at RMB 329,900. All GT7 models come equipped with Huawei’s six core technology solutions: Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system, next-generation HarmonyOS cockpit, Qiankun Chitu platform, Qiankun Vehicle Lighting, WhaleFin communications, and Qiankun Cloud-Connected Vehicle services. The ADS 5 system features 36 high-performance sensors—including an 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR, 11 HD cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars—forming an eight-layer hardware redundancy architecture capable of stably detecting small obstacles up to 120 meters away. Exterior-wise, the Qijing GT7 measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,470 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm and a drag coefficient of just 0.198 Cd. The front fascia integrates HUAWEI XPIXEL million-pixel smart projection headlights with waterfall-style blue ADS indicator lights. The rear features a full-width “Qijing Wings” taillight composed of 526 individual light sources. Six standard exterior colors and three custom paint finishes are available, all finished using an advanced 8-coat 3C2B painting process. Inside, the cabin adopts an “Interstellar Space Cockpit” design, featuring an AI Star Ring diffuser, Gemini three-spoke steering wheel, and a dynamic central island console. Three interior color schemes are offered: Solar Red, Stellar Black, and Moonlight Beige. The cabin is equipped with a 21-speaker 7.1.4 HUAWEI SOUND audio system, an 88-inch AR-HUD head-up display, and mic-free karaoke functionality. The front seats are zero-gravity seats with 16-way electric adjustment and 10-point massage functions. When the rear seats are folded flat, they create a 1.9-meter-long level loading space, expanding trunk capacity from 647 liters to 1,606 liters. Additionally, the vehicle includes a 215-liter front trunk and 37 storage compartments throughout the cabin. On safety, the GT7 has completed 200,000 kilometers of real-world L3-level autonomous driving tests and has received Guangzhou city’s L3 autonomous driving road test permit. It features a Xuan Shield cage-type body structure with 90% high-strength steel and aluminum content, 2,200 MPa hot-forming air-inflated side beams, eight airbags including a driver knee airbag, and the CAS 5.0 comprehensive collision avoidance system, meeting both C-NCAP 5-star and China Insurance Automotive Safety Index (C-IASI) 3G+ standards. The powertrain is built on an 800V high-voltage platform, offering both single-motor and tri-motor configurations. The tri-motor variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.98 seconds. It uses a next-generation Qilin battery co-developed by CATL, Huawei Qiankun, and Qijing, available in two capacities: 86.111 kWh and 102.768 kWh, delivering CLTC range from 675 to 900 kilometers. The vehicle supports 6C ultra-fast charging, with the manufacturer claiming a charging rate of “one kilometer per second.” The chassis employs a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link H-arm suspension setup. All variants come standard with a closed dual-chamber air suspension and continuously adjustable dampers. Integrated with Huawei’s Qiankun Chitu platform and HUAWEI XMC digital chassis engine, the system enables millisecond-level coordinated responses across six domains: drive, braking, steering, suspension, body control, and thermal management. On the Tianmen Mountain racetrack, the GT7 set a new lap record of 9 minutes and 29.14 seconds. Early buyers can enjoy five limited-time purchase benefits: a RMB 999 deposit redeemable for RMB 3,999 off the final payment, priority production scheduling, RMB 4,000 off optional wheel upgrades, RMB 5,000 off select exterior colors, and a complimentary upgrade to the Stellar Black interior (valued at RMB 3,000). Pre-orders are now open, and by the end of June, 300 stores across 70 cities will be fully operational, including both Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving Authorized Experience Centers and Qijing User Centers.
