On May 26, the Qijing GT7 officially launched with five trim levels, priced between RMB 209,900 and RMB 329,900. Positioned as a mid-to-large intelligent shooting brake, the vehicle is built on Huawei’s Qiankun Chitu platform and is among the first models equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system. In terms of design, the Qijing GT7 features a sleek, elongated shooting brake silhouette, highlighted by a low-slung hood and an integrated full-aluminum clamshell engine cover. It comes standard with HUAWEI XPIXEL dual-million-pixel intelligent projection headlights that incorporate the ADS-assisted driving “blue light.” The side profile showcases a wide-body, low-slung stance, with a sporty C-pillar treatment, wheel options ranging from 19 to 21 inches, Continental four-piston fixed calipers, frameless doors, and laminated acoustic glass. The vehicle measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,470 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. At the rear, the car features the “Qijing Wings” taillight design with a two-tier layout, incorporating diffused lighting elements and a贯穿式 (full-width) light bar. It also includes an aluminum alloy reflector panel and waterfall-style assisted-driving blue lights, supporting interactive modes such as welcome lighting, parking breathing effects, and a dynamic “light curtain” farewell sequence. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and an 88-inch augmented reality HUD. It runs HarmonySpace, Huawei’s HarmonyOS-powered intelligent cockpit, and features a 21-speaker HUAWEI SOUND 7.1.4 surround sound system with AI-powered audio tuning. The center console houses an AI Star Ring diffuser, working in tandem with the next-generation HarmonyOS intelligent assistant to enable natural voice control over navigation, vehicle functions, and lifestyle services, along with anthropomorphic interactive gestures. For seating, the front row features dual zero-gravity seats with 10-point acupressure massage functionality. The rear seatbacks offer two recline angles—28° and 33°—and can be folded flat with one touch to create a nearly 1.9-meter-long level cargo space. On the driver-assistance front, the Qijing GT7 is powered by Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 system, featuring dual-path 896-line image-grade LiDAR. It supports CAS 5.0, a comprehensive collision-avoidance system, and Parking-to-Parking 3.0 functionality, enabling automatic reversing and obstacle avoidance in unfamiliar parking lots, rural roads, and narrow lanes. Powertrain options include single-motor and tri-motor variants. The single-motor version delivers a maximum output of 250 kW and offers two battery choices: CATL’s Shenxing LFP battery (CLTC range: 770 km) and the Qilin ternary lithium battery (CLTC range: 900 km). The tri-motor variant boasts a combined output of 565 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.98 seconds. The chassis features a closed-loop dual-chamber air suspension and a continuously variable damping system, all managed by Huawei’s XMC digital chassis engine for integrated six-domain control, and even includes a drift mode. During the initial sales period, the manufacturer is offering multiple purchase incentives.
