The XPeng MONA L03 made its official debut and opened for pre-orders on July 2, offering six variants across two powertrain options: pure electric and super extended-range. The pre-sale price ranges from RMB 143,800 to RMB 165,800. The pure electric versions deliver CLTC-rated ranges of 525 km and 625 km, respectively, while the super extended-range variant achieves a combined CLTC range of 1,330 km (with 315 km of pure electric range) and a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 5.16 L/100 km. Designed by XPeng’s global design team led by former Ferrari designer Juan Ma, the vehicle features a drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.228, achieved through 22 aerodynamic optimizations. It is available in six exterior colors and offers two interior color schemes—Deep Space Gray and Cosmic Gray—along with frameless doors, full-width taillights, and 20-inch wheels. The body utilizes high-gloss clear coat and a 3C2B painting process. Inside the cabin, over 72% of surfaces are soft-wrapped. Features include 256-color ambient lighting, a 14-point massage seat for the driver, and a zero-gravity massage seat for the front passenger. The cockpit is equipped with a 26.8-inch W-HUD, a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, and a 20-speaker AI-powered audio system. Over 90% of the cabin is covered with sound-insulating materials, complemented by dual active noise cancellation systems (ENC + RNC). Storage includes a 102L front trunk, a 539L rear trunk (expandable up to 1,640L), and 40 storage compartments throughout the cabin. For intelligent driving, the Max trim is powered by a single Turing chip with an effective computing power of 750 TOPS, while the Ultra SE trim features dual Turing AI chips delivering 1,500 TOPS of effective computing power, enabling full-scenario navigation capabilities. The vehicle will receive XPeng’s second-generation VLA Distilled autonomous driving system, optimized for complex scenarios such as narrow urban streets, campus roads, and adverse weather conditions. The chassis employs a front MacPherson and rear five-link suspension setup, standard with DCC intelligent variable damping shock absorbers and Bosch IPB braking system. It boasts a minimum turning radius of 5.25 meters, a 100–0 km/h braking distance of 35.99 meters, and an upgraded Smart Motion Sickness Prevention Mode 2.0. Safety-wise, all trims come standard with seven airbags and 17 active safety technologies, including AEB functional up to 150 km/h, AES operational up to 130 km/h, and Ice & Snow AES. The vehicle also features an all-scenario flat-tire stability system and a driver incapacitation assistance system, meeting five-star safety ratings in China, Europe, and Australia. From now until July 16, a refundable deposit of RMB 1,000 can be applied toward RMB 3,000 off the final purchase price. Additionally, the 20-inch five-spoke sport wheels are available at a limited-time promotional price of RMB 4,000 (originally RMB 6,000). The MONA L03 will make its global launch in Munich, Germany, on July 16, and will be sold in 64 countries and regions worldwide.
