On July 4, a digital blogger posted a video claiming that Faraday Future’s (FF) facility in Gardena, Los Angeles, appeared completely deserted, sparking doubts about the company's operational status. In response, Faraday Future stated that its global headquarters had officially relocated to El Segundo (part of LA’s “Silicon Beach”) at the end of March, and the former Gardena office had been decommissioned. The company called the description of the site as “abandoned” a misleading portrayal of the relocation. FF added that it has preserved evidence from the video and sent a legal notice to the platform, reserving the right to pursue legal action. Faraday Future also disclosed that deliveries of its AI robot product began at the end of February, with a total of 242 units delivered by the end of June—exceeding its original first-half target of 220 units. Based on current business progress, the company has raised its full-year delivery target from 1,500 to 2,000 units. The blogger later countered by accusing FF executive Wang Jiawei of spreading false information and publicly shared alleged private messages from the executive to support his claims.
