Geely Galaxy TT recently underwent drift testing on a closed-off facility road, successfully executing high-difficulty maneuvers such as constant-radius circles and figure-eight slalom runs. The related video quickly drew public attention and trended on Weibo. Conducted by professional test drivers under standardized procedures and equipped with rigorous safety measures throughout, Geely emphasized that these tests were solely intended to validate the vehicle’s dynamic performance and strictly warned against public imitation. Built on Geely Galaxy’s latest all-electric technology, the Galaxy TT offers two powertrain variants: an all-wheel-drive version delivering a maximum output of 425 kW (578 hp) and a rear-wheel-drive version with 245 kW (333 hp). Both are based on an 800V high-voltage architecture. Battery options include three capacities—52.5 kWh, 63.8 kWh, and 75.2 kWh. Geely is leveraging the Galaxy TT to challenge a Guinness World Record currently held by an ultra-luxury sports brand and plans to unveil further details of its next-generation 800V electric drive platform at an upcoming launch event.
