On July 10, the latest vehicle registration list released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) revealed that Xiaomi Auto has filed two new models: the Pengcheng N90 and N70. The N90 is a full-size, three-row SUV measuring 5,285 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,925 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,080 mm. The N70 is a mid-to-large five-seater SUV, sized at 4,960 mm long, 1,998 mm wide, and 1,785 mm tall, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Both models feature an identical family-style front-end design: the upper section of the front fascia is fully enclosed and bears the “SKYNOMAD” emblem, while the Xiaomi logo sits at the front edge of the hood; the lower section houses an air intake grille. The N90 offers optional 20-inch or 21-inch wheels and will be available in a “plug-in extended-range hybrid cultural lifestyle service vehicle” variant. Its roof structure supports outdoor camping tents and integrates with a rooftop bed board to enable camping functionality; an in-cabin projection kit is also available as an option. The N70 comes with either 19-inch or 21-inch wheels, emphasizes energy efficiency, and is offered in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. Both models are powered by Dongan Power’s 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum output of 112 kW. The N90 features dual motors with peak outputs of 210 kW and 100 kW respectively, paired with ternary lithium-ion batteries supplied by CALB (China Aviation Lithium Battery). The N70’s rear-wheel-drive version uses a single 210 kW motor, while the all-wheel-drive variant combines a 210 kW front motor with a 100 kW rear motor. Battery options for the N70 include both ternary lithium (supplied by CALB) and lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells (provided by Sunwoda).
