GAC Group's premium intelligent new energy vehicle brand, Qijing, has officially unveiled detailed specifications for its debut model—the Qijing GT7 Extended-Range Edition. The vehicle has been registered with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), boasting a CLTC combined range of 1,300 km and an all-electric range of 252 km. It is equipped with CATL-supplied lithium iron phosphate batteries and supports external charging. All variants come standard with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system, featuring comprehensive multi-sensor fusion perception, the CAS 5.0 full-dimensional collision avoidance system, and Point-to-Point Parking 3.0 functionality. The vehicle measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. It seats five passengers, has a curb weight of 2,230 kg, a gross vehicle weight of 2,680 kg, and a top speed of 190 km/h. Powering the GT7 is a 1.5L (1,498 cc) range-extending engine delivering a maximum output of 125 kW and a net power of 120 kW, compliant with China’s National VI emission standards. Battery cells are supplied by Times Chang’an Power Battery Co., Ltd., while battery packs are assembled by GAC Times Power Battery Co., Ltd.
