The all-electric, all-wheel-drive variant of the XPeng G9L SUV has completed product registration under the 409th batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) “Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products.” This vehicle is a battery electric multi-purpose passenger car featuring a spacious five-seat layout. Its dimensions are 5,120 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,782/1,788/1,795 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,100 mm. The curb weight is either 2,720 kg or 2,740 kg, it is rated for five occupants, and its maximum speed is 200 km/h. In terms of powertrain, the vehicle is equipped with dual motors—one on the front axle and one on the rear. The front motor delivers a rated power of 50 kW and a peak power of 160 kW, while the rear motor offers a rated power of 110 kW and a peak power of 270 kW, resulting in a combined system output of 430 kW. The energy storage system uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, with both cells and battery packs supplied by China Aviation Lithium Battery Technology Co., Ltd. (CALB). Optional features include the absence of electric side steps, different headlamp designs, front logo variations, rear badging options, multiple wheel rim specifications, and an onboard ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) device. The vehicle also comes equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR). Available tire sizes are 255/50R20, 265/45R21, 265/40R22, and 285/40R22.
