Mercedes-Benz All-Electric GLC Hui Silver and Xing Platinum Editions Open for Pre-Orders, Launching by Year-End

The all-new Mercedes-Benz all-electric GLC SUV was unveiled on July 8, launching in three variants: Hui Silver Edition, Liu Gold Edition, and Xing Platinum Edition. Among them, the Liu Gold Edition—the launch model—is already available and deliveries have commenced. Pre-sales for the Hui Silver and Xing Platinum editions are now open, with both expected to launch and begin deliveries by the end of 2024. The Hui Silver Edition (5-seater) has a pre-sale price of RMB 299,900, the Liu Gold Edition (5-seater) is priced at RMB 339,800, and the Xing Platinum Edition (4+2-seater) carries a pre-sale price of RMB 388,800. The new model features Mercedes-Benz’s latest design language, highlighted by an illuminated grille embedded with 942 polycarbonate backlighting elements that support sequential lighting effects. The headlights integrate Star Emblem motifs. A fixed panoramic glass roof comes standard across all trims, and multiple wheel options are available. Dimensions vary slightly by variant: length is either 4,949 mm or 4,933 mm, width is 1,970 mm or 1,914 mm, height is 1,710 mm or 1,690 mm, and the wheelbase measures 3,027 mm, all built on a unibody structure. Inside, the cabin features a dual-screen setup on the dashboard, with displays equipped with 1,000 individually controlled LED backlight zones. It also includes the “Little Benz” virtual assistant, wireless smartphone charging, dual cup holders, and a Burmester sound system with 19 speakers. The six-seat version offers optional second-row individual seats with ventilation and heating functions. Powered by an 800V electrical architecture, the vehicle delivers a CLTC-rated range of 680 km for the standard version and 703 km for the long-range variant, both powered by CATL ternary lithium-ion batteries. Charging from 10% to 80% takes just 22 minutes.
