Some workers at Hyundai Motor Company in South Korea recently launched a partial strike, triggered by the company's unveiling of its new humanoid industrial robot "Atlas" in January. Standing 1.9 meters tall and equipped with 360-degree rotating joints and agile walking capabilities, the robot sparked concerns among tens of thousands of automotive industry workers at an exhibition over potential job displacement, leading to the first-ever work stoppage at a factory linked to disputes over humanoid robots.
