On the eve of the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), China's autonomous ride-hailing platform Apollo Go signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai with Kazakhstan-based company Turlov Private Holding Ltd. (TPH). The two parties will jointly advance the deployment of autonomous vehicle mobility services in Kazakhstan. This collaboration marks the first entry of Chinese autonomous vehicles into the Central Asian market. Zhaslan Madiev, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.
