As of July 2024, Huawei’s Qiankun ADS (Advanced Driving System) has accumulated over 12.8 billion kilometers of assisted driving mileage, with projections indicating it will surpass 20 billion kilometers by the end of 2024. To date, Qiankun ADS has partnered with more than 25 automotive brands and over 50 vehicle models, spanning sedans, SUVs, MPVs, off-road vehicles, and powertrain types including battery electric, hybrid, and internal combustion engine vehicles, with total deployments exceeding 1.9 million units. Qiankun ADS 5 adopts the WEWA 2.0 architecture and is positioned as an AI agent designed for autonomous driving. Its commercial version will soon be rolled out incrementally via OTA updates. The annual OTA/commercial roadmap includes: - **ADS V5.0**: Introduces rear-end collision prevention assistance, AR-HUD safety alerts for rain and fog conditions, NCARCA roaming cruise assist, parking-space-level charging navigation (supporting plug-and-charge), and spot-holding parking functionality. - **ADS V5.X**: Adds integrated active-passive steering error prevention, meeting-and-reversing maneuver assistance, and pothole avoidance capabilities. - **Another ADS V5.X variant**: Upgrades Driver Incapacitation Assist 2.0 and emergency egress features.
