On July 15, XPeng Motors issued a public statement apologizing for frequent malfunctions of the XPeng X9's air suspension system under high-temperature conditions. The company announced it would extend the warranty coverage for the front air spring system to 8 years or 160,000 kilometers, with the warranty remaining valid regardless of vehicle ownership changes. Previously, multiple owners in Chongqing reported that their vehicles' air suspensions triggered sudden warning alerts during normal driving, causing one side of the vehicle body to collapse and rendering the car immobile. These issues have occurred predominantly during hot seasons and are not isolated incidents.
