Honda to Discontinue Prologue, Its Only EV in U.S., and Shift Focus to Hybrids

Honda will discontinue production of the Prologue, its only electric vehicle sold in the U.S. market. Lance Woelfer, Vice President of Automotive Sales at American Honda Motor Co., stated that the 2026 Prologue SUV will be the final model year for this vehicle. Sales will not cease immediately but will continue as existing inventory is gradually depleted, expected to last into early 2027. Honda will shift its focus toward hybrid models going forward.
