NIO ES8 Hits 130,000 Deliveries in 305 Days, Tops Large SUV Sales in First Half of 2026

Since its launch in late September 2025, the NIO ES8 has reached the milestone of delivering its 130,000th vehicle in just 305 days. The landmark vehicle—a five-seat ES8—was delivered on July 22, 2026, in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province. From January to June 2026, the NIO ES8 achieved cumulative retail sales of 78,618 units, ranking first in both the large SUV segment and the premium vehicle segment priced around RMB 400,000 during the first half of the year. The all-new NIO ES8 all-electric SUV officially debuted on September 20, 2025, with a starting price of RMB 406,800 to RMB 446,800 for the standard purchase option, or RMB 298,800 to RMB 338,800 under NIO’s Battery as a Service (BaaS) subscription plan. It is available in six exterior colors: Midnight Black, Cloud White, Polaris Blue, Dawn Gold, Stellar Green, and Starlight Grey. On July 10, 2026, nationwide deliveries of the five-seat ES8 variant commenced. This version features dual Zero-Gravity Aviation Seats for driver and front passenger, offering 20-way adjustability, 400mm-wide leg rests, and an extended maximum support length of 370mm. Its pricing ranges from RMB 382,800 to RMB 422,800 for outright purchase, or from RMB 274,800 to RMB 314,800 with the BaaS option.
