The Buick Zhi Jing L7 all-electric sedan has officially opened for pre-orders. Built on an 800V high-voltage platform, the vehicle features 55°C temperature-controlled ultra-fast charging technology, with Buick claiming it can add 450 km of range in just 10 minutes of charging. The model has already been registered with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). It measures 5,032 mm in length, 1,952 mm in width, 1,500 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm—identical to its range-extended counterpart. Exterior styling follows Buick’s latest family design language, featuring Starry Sky Wing headlights and a front-mounted LiDAR sensor. It is expected to be equipped with the same “Xiaoyao SmartDrive” advanced driver-assistance system as the range-extended version. Powered by Momenta’s R6 Flywheel large model, this system supports seamless urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) and automatic parking into all types of parking spaces. Inside, the cabin adopts a “floating pressure-relief cockpit” design, paired with a preview-sensing “Magic Carpet” suspension that can detect road bumps up to 20 meters ahead. The panoramic sunroof features SPF100+ “medical-grade UV protection” with instant dimming capability, while the seats utilize a cloud-like floating pressure-relief structure designed to prevent lower back and hip suspension discomfort. Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by an electric motor delivering a maximum output of 282 kW. All variants come standard with an 800V high-voltage architecture and 6C ultra-fast charging technology, with battery cells supplied by CATL.
