On July 27, Li Xinyang, Head of Product Line at Li Auto, stated that due to a temporary disruption in headlight supply in mid-to-late July, the production volume of the Li Auto i6 for the month was reduced by approximately 4,000 units compared to the original plan. He added that headlight supply and overall vehicle production have now returned to normal, and the company is working closely with its supply chain partners to accelerate production recovery and ensure on-time deliveries for customers who have already placed orders. Previously, the 160,000th Li Auto i6 rolled off the production line on July 21, marking the fourth consecutive month in which the model’s sales exceeded 20,000 units. The Li Auto i6 is a battery-electric SUV that began deliveries on September 27, 2025, from the company’s Changzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Base, with a starting price of RMB 249,800. The vehicle features a 3-meter wheelbase and a five-seat layout. It is equipped with a 16.8-inch head-up display for the front row, dual 3K-resolution screens in the front, and a 21.4-inch 3K screen for rear passengers. Powered by the “Li Auto Mate” intelligent assistant system based on the MindGPT large language model, the i6 also features a 5C lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supporting 5C ultra-fast charging and discharging. Under CLTC conditions, it delivers a range of up to 720 kilometers and a peak power output exceeding 500 kW.
