GAC Trumpchi Yue 7 is set to make its global debut on August 7. This rugged, boxy SUV features a sculpted, angular exterior design and offers three rear-end configuration options: exposed spare tire, spare tire cover, or toolbox. Optional extras include LiDAR, externally mounted spare tire, and towing equipment. Inside, physical buttons are minimized, replaced by a slim digital instrument cluster and a floating central touchscreen, while the cabin is extensively wrapped in soft-touch materials. The Yue 7 debuts in the industry with the flagship 8838 chip, delivering 300 KD MIPS of computing power to support an intelligent cockpit and advanced driver-assistance systems. Powering the vehicle is the Xingyuan plug-in hybrid GMC 3.0 Thunder Edition system, combining a 1.5T hybrid engine (maximum output: 125 kW), a drive motor peaking at 205 kW, and a P4 rear electric motor. The all-wheel-drive system delivers a combined maximum output of 400 kW and wheel-end torque of up to 10,000 N·m.
