Xiaomi N90 Pop-Up Camper Debuts with Roof Tent and Multi-Scenario Expansion

Xiaomi Auto plans to hold a technology launch event on the evening of July 30, during which pre-sales for the N90 and N70 models are expected to begin. Among them, the N90 Pop-Top Camping Edition has drawn attention due to its unique design. Road test images reveal that this version features a noticeably raised roof—elevated by at least 10 centimeters—housing an integrated lifting mechanism and a camping tent, which occupies part of the interior cabin space. Externally, the N90 Pop-Top Camping Edition shares the same styling as the standard model, featuring a dual-layer front fascia: the upper layer is a closed panel bearing the “SKYNOMAD” logo, with the Xiaomi emblem positioned at the front of the hood; the lower layer houses the air intake grille. The N90 measures 5,285 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,925 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,080 mm, positioning it as a full-size SUV. It offers two wheel options: 20-inch and 21-inch. The Pop-Top Camping Edition is defined as a “plug-in extended-range hybrid cultural lifestyle service vehicle.” When the roof is deployed, it supports an outdoor tent and, combined with a bed board, enables camping functionality. Additional optional accessories include an in-cabin projection kit and a built-in foldable table to expand usage scenarios. Powering the N90 is a Dongan Power 1.5T engine delivering a maximum output of 112 kW, paired with dual motors—one on each axle—with peak outputs of 210 kW (front) and 100 kW (rear). The battery, supplied by CALB, uses ternary lithium technology and has a maximum capacity of 76 kWh, offering a WLTC-rated all-electric range of up to 370 kilometers.
