SAIC Motor Corporation Limited ("SAIC Motor") recently signed a group-level strategic cooperation agreement with Feishu, integrating Feishu's artificial intelligence and integrated collaboration platform across its entire R&D, production, and operational processes. SAIC Motor President Jia Jianxu and Feishu CEO Xie Xin attended the signing ceremony. This partnership marks an upgrade from fragmented adoption of Feishu by SAIC’s subsidiaries—such as SAIC-GM and SAIC-GM-Wuling—to a unified, group-wide collaboration framework. Leveraging Feishu’s AI and integrated collaboration platform, both parties will identify, develop, and implement AI use cases across the full “R&D–production–sales–supply–after-sales” value chain. Some of these scenarios are already in validation or operational phases. Key focus areas going forward include enterprise-wide collaboration and R&D project management. SAIC Motor stated that it aims to enhance transparency in R&D workflows, improve traceability of product quality, and accelerate supply chain information flow and issue-resolution cycles through Feishu’s project management capabilities. To drive AI adoption at the frontline business level, SAIC will launch the “Smart Innovation Pioneer Challenge,” establishing a regular evaluation mechanism and a dedicated prize pool. Founded in the 1950s, SAIC Motor surpassed 100 million cumulative vehicle sales and production by May 2026, becoming China’s first automotive group to reach the "hundred-million-unit" milestone. In the first half of 2026, SAIC delivered 2.045 million vehicles, making it the only Chinese automaker to exceed 2 million units in sales during the same period. On the product front, SAIC plans to launch two strategic models in the second half of 2026: the MG 07 will open for pre-orders on July 29, while the Roewe Jiayue 07 is expected to debut in early Q4. Moving forward, SAIC Motor will continue deepening its collaboration with Feishu in digital transformation, AI integration, and business innovation.
