BYD plans to officially unveil a humanoid robot in August. Standing 1.61 meters tall and weighing 58.5 kilograms, the robot can interact with users via the voice command "Hello Xiao Di." Previously, Di Space—a brand experience venue under BYD—released a teaser poster highlighting the robot's approachability rather than its technological sophistication. Di Space serves as BYD’s offline immersive experience hub for brand showcasing, product demonstrations, user interaction, and debut of new technologies. Li Ke, Executive Vice President of BYD, previously stated that the company intends to deploy the humanoid robot across its dealer network to handle customer reception and product presentations, with commercial implementation expected within one to two years.
