On the afternoon of July 31, Xu Jieyun, Deputy General Manager of Xiaomi Group's Strategic Marketing Department, clearly stated on social media that Xiaomi Auto has never issued so-called "F codes" and strictly prohibits any internal staff from engaging in unauthorized operations. She urged the public not to believe false claims about reselling vehicle delivery eligibility and reminded users that if anyone claims to be an "insider," they should provide the individual’s identity information so the company can conduct a thorough investigation. Earlier reports indicated that numerous resale listings featuring the keyword "Xiaomi Pengcheng" had appeared on secondhand trading platforms, with prices ranging from several thousand to tens of thousands of yuan. Sellers generally fell into two categories: one group claimed to be Xiaomi Auto employees holding officially allocated F codes, enabling them to secure priority delivery slots through internal channels; the other presented themselves as "authorized dealers," asserting they could lock in orders early using store-specific quotas without joining the official public reservation queue. The Xiaomi Pengcheng series has not yet been officially launched. Its technology launch event was held at 7 p.m. on July 30.
