In the first half of 2026, Mercedes-Benz Group reported revenue of €63.663 billion, down 4.1% year-over-year, and net profit of €2.519 billion, a 6.3% decline compared to the same period last year. In the second quarter alone, revenue amounted to €32.061 billion, down 3% year-over-year, while net profit rose by 13% year-over-year to €1.086 billion. In terms of sales volume, Mercedes-Benz delivered 837,195 passenger vehicles globally in the first half of 2026, a 7% decrease year-over-year. Sales in Europe reached 324,976 units, up 5% year-over-year; North America saw deliveries of 180,927 units, an increase of 15%; while Asia recorded 290,950 units, down 25% year-over-year, including 210,245 units in China, which declined by 28%. In the second quarter of 2026, global passenger car deliveries totaled 417,765 units, down 8% year-over-year. European sales rose 4% to 166,433 units; North American deliveries increased by 13% to 91,338 units; Asian sales fell 27% to 138,288 units, with China accounting for 98,624 units—a 30% decline year-over-year. In its earnings report, Mercedes-Benz stated that China and Chinese customers remain its top strategic priority.
