Li Auto released the OTA 9.1 update on July 30, applicable to the new-generation Li L6, all-new Li L8, and all-new Li L9 models. This update introduces 31 new features and 10 experience optimizations. The new version adds two new ADAS driving styles—"Efficient" and "Comfort"—and enhances driving experiences in scenarios such as green-light starts, lane-change acceleration, and obstacle circumvention. A new active vehicle repositioning feature has been added: when the trunk is opened and rear space is limited, the vehicle automatically moves forward; once the trunk is closed, it returns to its original position automatically. For parking, the system can now recognize unmarked parking spaces adjacent to other vehicles, improving automatic parking capabilities in areas without painted lines. Additionally, a new feature assists drivers in navigating through narrow-width bollards: when manually driving, the central display will show an alert upon detecting such bollards. During nighttime driving, if the ADAS detects potential hazards, the ADB headlights will proactively illuminate pedestrians or vehicles ahead as a warning. The update also introduces Li Auto’s built-in walkie-talkie function, supporting one-touch real-time communication, map location sharing, and synchronized navigation routes. Moreover, when the turn signal is activated, the panoramic screen displays the corresponding rear-side view, with customizable image size and position—left and right turn views can be configured independently. Other updates include: KuGou Music’s Li Auto Custom Edition (featuring new player animations and built-in audio tuning), HUD displaying remaining range information, body height adjustment via the 800V active suspension in Off-Road mode to reduce vehicle pitch, and support for Insta360 panoramic cameras, enabling large-screen preview, playback, and clip selection.
